Important parameters for trouble-free rail traffic are the rail profile, the position of the rail, the track gauge, wear of the rail bodies and the sinking of the track bed. The 3D laser measuring technology presented here is based on the principle of laser light section procedure and can be used in production in the rolling plant as well as the body of the rail car or in special and service vehicles.
